Festive charity of the OJSC «Agroinvestbank»

On 1 September 2010 in the framework of the social politics, ran by the President of RT on rendering charitable material assistance to orphanages, boarding schools, houses for the aged and other vulnerable strata of population during national and state holidays, the OJSC «Agroinvestbank» as other ministries and agencies, enterprises and organizations of the country in the Day of Knowledge, as well as the upcoming holidays – Independent Day and Idi Saidi Fitr – rendered charitable help to the boarding school for gifted children of the Jomi district. The assistance consisted of food products mainly – flour, oil, rice, sugar, tea, onion, potato, carrot, and other necessary products for preparing holiday meal. Beside this, one school girl of this school – orphan was given 500 somoni to buy school uniform. Total amount of the assistance amounted to 6000 (six thousand) somoni.  As reported by the Director of the boarding school Mirzo Bovoev, number of students of the school is 376 children, out of whom 74 have only one parent, or are from vulnerable families.

Director of the boarding school opened the solemn event, dedicated to the Knowledge Day, greeted the guests and gave them speech. Chairman of the Hukumat of the district of Jomi, Umedkhoja Zoirov, Head of the Education department of the district, Khosiyat Nematova and other parents, who made speech, cordially congratulated children and teachers with the Knowledge Day and wished children good health and successes in their studies. In their turn, teachers and children of this school expressed their gratitude to the President of the country for thorough care and support of OJSC «Agroinvestbank» for this support.
