On October 28 2012, the eve of celebration of 20th anniversary of the XVI session of the Supreme Soviet of the Republic of Tajikistan in Istaravshan, the building of a new branch of "Agroinvestbank" was commissioned. While opening a new building of the branch, which is built in a modern style, the President of RT Emomali Rahmon wished to the employees of the Bank a successful perfomance in the field of development of the area’s economic sector. The opening ceremony was also attended by the chairman of Sughd Kohir Rasulzoda, chairman of the "Agroinvestbank" Alisher Soliev, and other officials.

   It should be noted that the Bank's branch in Istaravshan ranks specially in the structure of "Agroinvestbank." Currently, 45 employees of the branch provide complete financial services in all sectors of the region's economics to the customers in a timely and quality manner. Therefore, in order to support and develop main industrial sectors of the district, following loan funds were assigned: to the agricultural sector - 409 thousand somoni, transportation industry - 2 351 thousand somoni, buisness sector - 4 549 thousand somoni, individual loans and other commercial activities - about 300 thousand somoni, which are 7 million 603 thousand somoni in total. Like all other branches of the region, Istaravshan’s branch significantly increased amount of micro loans and reached 2 million 480 thousand somoni, which is 34.4% of the growth rate. Its position in the market of remittance is also stable. As of September 30, 2012 through the international money transfer systems there were issued funds to the remittees in an equivalent to 48 million 321 thousand somoni.

   In a conclusion it should be mentioned that employees of "Agroinvestbank’s" branch in Istaravshan have responsible and serious attitude to work and already gained high confidence and respect of the Bank’s customers.
