On 13 September 2010 – a meeting took place at the Head Office of the OJSC of «Agroinvestbank» between the Bank’s Management and the governmental working groups of the State Penjab of the Republic of India. The working group was headed by the Minister of the agriculture of Penjab, Mr. Sucha Singh Langah. The working group comprised representatives of various fields of the national economy of Penjab, in particular agriculture, energy, communication, trade, entrepreneurship and banking. The Chairman of the Bank, Mr. Tagoimurodov F.G greeted the guests and thoroughly informed them about the main working directions of the Bank. Mr. Sucha Singh Langah, thanked the management of the Bank for cordial reception and noted that his country hopes for all-round cooperation with the Republic of Tajikistan. At the present time according to the mutual cooperation between the Ministry of Agriculture and environmental protection of RT, representatives of the Penjab society of progressive agricultural producers have started their work in Yavan district of RT. The reporter highlighted that organization of cooperation with banking field is also one of the key and important issues. In the course of the meeting the guests got answers to their questions, related to opening bank account, receiving credit and their interests, types of deposit and their interests, bank commissions and so on. One of the participants of the meeting, Mr. Tirlochan Singh – banker, director of the «Kotak Mahindra Bank» branch expressed his satisfaction about mutual understanding between the sides from the first steps in cooperation.
